About Us
DO Motors was started in 1955 by WJ Odendaal as a Caltex service station in Boksburg. Over the last 65 years, we have gained a reputation for exceptional service and customer satisfaction. DO Motors is a family owned business and this is reflected in our name (DO Motors means Die Odendaal’s). In 1977, WJ Odendaal passed away, his sons took over the business and began to expand the company’s services.
Our History
Willem and Fritz Odendaal were involved in oval-track racing for 15 years from the late 70’s to the early 80’s. Their experience in maintaining and transporting motor racing cars meant that they had enough experience and knowledge to take over their father’s Caltex garage and expand the business.
The Odendaal brothers formed a new partnership and in the last 34 years the business has grown to include a transportation company (formed in 1986) which specialises in Forklift transportation, a used car dealership (formed in 1996) and a motor maintenance workshop, which has been a part of the business since the beginning.
Our workshop is fully equipped to make repairs and provide services (including not only general repairs but also major services) for all makes of passenger vehicles, SUV’s and light & medium duty vehicles (LDV). We pride ourselves on our excellent service and providing good quality goods, service and products.
Our used car dealership was located in Boksburg North and sold only good quality used cars. Subsequently in 2019 D O Motors decided to close down the second hand car sales due to the economy and the risk involved in selling second hand cars.

Transportation & Forklift Movers
DO Motors offers Transportation and Forklift moving service that specialises in transporting forklifts. We transport forklifts, containers, helicopters, backhoe and industrial generator sets throughout South Africa. Our main focus is transporting forklifts and we are able to transport forklifts up to 10 tons in weight. We are well insured for goods in transit.
Vehicle Service
Our Five Star RMI car service workshop is well-equipped and can execute all general repairs and services. Our car service centre is able to not only make repairs to, but also service all makes of light passenger vehicles, SUV’s and light duty vehicles (LDVs).
The workshop has been a part of the business since the beginning and has become one of the most reliable places to service your car in Boksburg. All of our mechanics are fully qualified and can guarantee the best workmanship in the East Rand.
